Our midwifery-led model ensures continuity of care, with the same dedicated team supporting each patient throughout pregnancy and after birth.
Due to growing demand, we are now looking to expand our psychological capability with a newly created full time or part time role. Offering a blend of in clinic and telehealth appointments this role will play an integral part of our allied health team, ensuring high quality, holistic care for patients. This is hybrid position that will allow a high degree of flexibility and autonomy for the successful candidate without compromising on professional support.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions for individuals and families.
Deliver counselling and therapy services to patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, adjustment issues, or perinatal mental health concerns.
Develop treatment and care plans tailored to individual needs.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and legislative requirements.
Provide consultation and support to clinical staff regarding patient mental health concerns.
Facilitate patient education and wellbeing programs (e.g. stress management, parenting support, coping strategies).
Contribute to staff training sessions on mental health awareness and psychosocial risk factors.
Assist in the development of patient resources and support materials.
Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
Minimum 2 years of clinical psychology experience
Experience in perinatal mental health or women's health preferred
Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, or similar)
Experience with perinatal mental health assessments and interventions
