As a Registered Nurse, you will use your clinical expertise, technical skills, and professional judgment to deliver exceptional patient care across a variety of fertility treatments. This role involves direct patient interaction in procedure rooms and fertility programs, including IVF, IUI, and recovery care.
You will work both independently and collaboratively within clinic protocols—assessing patients, interpreting test results, and managing treatments with compassion, accuracy, and professionalism.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain detailed documentation of all nursing activities.
Respond to test results and clinical findings in accordance with RFP protocols, professional standards of care, and CARNA guidelines.
Coordinate appointments, testing, and follow-ups as directed by clinic physicians.
Identify and address patient learning needs, providing education and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
Participate in pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures such as:
Perform limited transabdominal ultrasounds for embryo transfer procedures.
Deliver patient education sessions in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
Education:
Registration & Certification:
Current registration in good standing with the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).
Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within the first month of employment).
