As the Medical Director at our Sheffield clinic, you’ll be at the heart of this mission. You’ll lead a dedicated team of professionals who deliver world-class, patient-centred care - combining medical excellence with empathy and innovation.
Your Role
As a senior leader and Fertility Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in both patient care and clinic development. You’ll:
- Deliver exceptional consultations and perform all routine IVF procedures.
- Plan, manage, and oversee personalised treatment journeys for each patient.
- Communicate with patients with warmth and professionalism - whether that’s face-to-face, by phone, video, or email.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and support teams, including emergency advice when required.
- Shape the way we work by contributing to policy and service improvements, ensuring we always deliver the very best care.
- Represent Care Fertility as an ambassador - engaging in educational events, media opportunities and professional networks.

About You
You may already be a Medical Director, or an experienced Consultant in Reproductive Medicine looking for your next leadership step. You’re ambitious, compassionate and ready to make a lasting difference.

- Proven expertise in reproductive medicine and patient care.
- A collaborative leadership style that inspires trust and teamwork.
- The confidence to make sound clinical decisions - always keeping patient safety and wellbeing at the centre.
- A commitment to your own continuous learning and development, with an interest in research and innovation.

Your Qualifications
- MBBS, or equivalent medical qualification
- Full GMC registration and licence to practise
- MRCOG, or equivalent
- ATSMs in Subfertility and Assisted Conception, or equivalent
- Competent in scanning (formal qualification highly desirable)

Location and Benefits:
This is a part-time role working 3 days per week based at Care Fertility Sheffield, 24-26 Glen Road, Nether Edge, Sheffield S7 1RA.
