The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with treatments ordered by physician, as supervised by physician or Registered nurse.
- Performs select clinical duties
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on chart
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patient
- Performs basic clerical duties including answering phone, maintaining records and filing
- Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
- Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Complexity of work: Within the scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment
Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Required credentials : BLS provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer.
Preferred Credentials: Medical Assistant Certifcation.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
