Job Responsibilities
- Oversee labor and delivery management, including monitoring, pain management, and delivery assistance
- Provide emergency obstetric care and perform both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Monitor and manage postpartum care while patients are hospitalized
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Provide consultative services to midwives and family medicine providers
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Eligible for Massachusetts Medical License
- Board certified or an active candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Commitment to obstetrics education, health equity, and quality improvement
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
