We're looking for an experienced Regional Clinical Sales Specialist to support healthcare providers by delivering clinical education on treatment options for recurrent pericarditis. This role focuses on promoting an approved product’s benefits, including efficacy, safety, administration, and available patient support services.
Title: Regional Clinical Sales Specialist
Location: Northern California
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with field leadership and local sales teams to implement territory strategies and customer engagement plans.
- Provide clinical education to cardiologists, rheumatologists, and other stakeholders.
- Support account coverage during vacancies, PTO, or as needed across regions.
- Deliver presentations and educational sessions (virtually or in-person) to HCPs and office staff.
- Represent the product at local/regional conferences and hospital exhibit opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and track progress through accurate reporting.
- Educate providers on patient support services and specialty pharmacy processes.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company guidelines.
- Manage travel within assigned multi-territory geography (up to 85–90% travel).
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience; specialty or rare disease experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience with injectable therapies and buy-and-bill models is preferred.
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Familiarity with HUB services and patient support programs.
- Proven record of sales success and collaboration across functions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license; must be comfortable with extensive regional travel.
