Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical imaging techniques. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Duties
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to first trimester obstetrical & gynecological exams.
- Utilize appropriate sonographic techniques and equipment to capture clear images for analysis.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort.
- Document exam information accurately with in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and provide insights on imaging results.
- Stay current with advancements in sonography technology and practices through continuous education.
- Follow established protocols for patient care, safety, and infection control.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques and medical imaging practices.
- Experience in obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn) is required.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Certification from an accredited sonography program is required; RDMS or ARDMS certification is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within our healthcare team.
Hours & Location
We are looking for one sonographer to join us either one full day per week or 2 half days per week (You can pick your day(s), Monday-Thursday). This opportunity is available at our Chandler location only.
