Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our faculty as an RN Theory Instructor – Medical-Surgical. The ideal candidate will provide classroom instruction to nursing students, deliver engaging lectures, and ensure course content aligns with current clinical standards and accreditation requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality theory instruction in Medical-Surgical Nursing to ADN students.
· Prepare course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
· Maintain accurate student records and assess academic progress.
· Support student success through academic guidance and mentorship.
· Participate in faculty meetings and adhere to institutional policies and procedures.
Requirements:
· Current California RN license in good standing.
· Minimum MSN or higher
· Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing areas (geriatrics, medical-surgical, mental, mental-health/psychiatric nursing, obstetrics, or pediatrics) to which the faculty is assigned.

CA Salary: $55-$60 hourly is dependent on experience and education
