Hawkesbury District Hospital Maternity Unit is a vibrant Level Four service supporting over 600 births each year, offering an exceptional opportunity for registered midwives seeking permanent full-time or part-time roles.
This dynamic rotational position spans all areas of maternity care, including our midwifery-led Antenatal Clinic, Antenatal/Postnatal Ward, Birthing Unit, and Midwifery at Home. As a registered midwife, you’ll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team delivering safe, person-centered care in partnership with women, families, and carers.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Midwifery.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing/midwifery care that is person centered, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
