Assignment Length: 6 months to 1 year
Hours Per Day: 12
Hours Per Week: 48
Shift Options: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends)
Clinical Responsibilities

Labor & Delivery Management: Oversee and manage patients in labor, including monitoring, pain management, and assisting with deliveries

Emergency Obstetric Care: Provide immediate response to OB emergencies

Vaginal & Cesarean Deliveries: Perform deliveries, including C-sections, as needed

Postpartum Care: Manage patients through the postpartum period

GYN Procedures: Provide inpatient GYN coverage and manage emergent surgical needs

Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, midwives, nurses, and other providers to ensure coordinated care

Consultation: Provide consultative support for midwives and family medicine providers
Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Massachusetts medical license preferred, but not required

Board Certified or active candidate for certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Minimum 1 year of OBGYN hospitalist or L&D experience

GYN experience required; circumcision experience preferred but not required

Commitment to obstetrics education, health equity, and quality improvement

Fluency in Spanish or other languages desirable but not required
