Travel Pay Rate: $2800 weekly ($43.16/hr on w2 + $1246/week stipend)
Local Pay Rate: $70 per hour on W2
Start Date: 10/27/2025

Position Summary:
- MUST HAVE LABOR AND DELIVERY EXPERIENCE AND BE WILLING TO WORK IN LABOR/DELIVERY AND RECOVERY!!!!!
- Responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Practice, implementing and evaluating the age appropriate care of all patients in the department (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery and post-op gyn patients), for managing supplies and equipment, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of the unity and other hospital departments.
- RN adheres to hospital policies regarding,confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives and ADA.
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and supports the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- One year minimum of acute care experience as an RN.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Successfully completes general nursing and unit orientation.
- Effective communication skills, written and oral. Computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women throughout their reproductive life cycle, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments of patients, documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Assist in various procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Educate patients on family planning, prenatal care, and other women’s health issues while promoting health coaching practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients with complex needs.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of medical records.
- Participate in patient triage and provide critical care as needed in emergency situations.
Required Qualifications:
- RN Maine State License, BLS, ACLS, NRP & STABLE Required
