Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (General & OB/GYN Experience)
Location: Floating between LGH Main Hospital, Women’s and Babies Hospital, and Suburban Pavilion
Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Schedule: No weekends, no call, no holidays
Experience: 3-5 years required
Qualifications:
- Must hold ARDMS certifications in Abdomen (AB) and OB/GYN specialties (ARDMS AB and OB)
- Must be a graduate of a Radiology program (certifications alone are not accepted)
- General sonographer skills with OB experience required
- Experience working in outpatient settings with varied patient populations
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound imaging for general and OB/GYN cases
- Float between multiple hospital and outpatient locations
- Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality
- Adapt to different patient needs and clinical environments
Additional Information:
- ARDMS certification requires passing the Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) exam and corresponding specialty exams within five years.
- Candidates must document education and clinical ultrasound experience according to ARDMS prerequisites.
