The EHR System Educator is responsible for facilitating new hire orientation and ongoing systems training for providers and staff. This role ensures that all new hires are introduced to Women’s Care workflows, processes, and systems in a consistent and effective manner. The System Educator trains in the electronic health record (EHR) system and supporting programs, as well as provides direct training to providers on EHR functionality. By delivering engaging, standardized training sessions, the System Educator supports organizational consistency, staff readiness, and a positive onboarding experience.
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation sessions for all new employees, ensuring exposure to Women’s Care processes and workflows.
- Deliver training on the EHR system and other support applications to both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Provide direct EHR training to providers, tailored to their workflows and specialty-specific needs.
- Collaborate with leadership, EHR Administration, and departmental trainers to maintain consistency in training content and alignment with current workflows.
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness, adapting delivery methods or content as needed.
- Maintain training materials and update documentation when workflows or systems change.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying knowledge gaps and recommending solutions.
- Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
- Minimum 3 years of experience delivering system or software training in a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, strongly prefer eClinicalWorks (eCW).
- Basic understanding of medical terminology required.
- Experience facilitating training for both large groups and individual learners, in person and virtually.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining instructional materials and documentation.
