About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Midwife Educator to join our wonderful Maternity team at Singleton Hospital. On any given day, you will be supporting the student midwives and new graduate Registered Midwives by delivering clinical education programs; providing 1:1 direct supervision to junior staff, collaborating with other members of the Midwifery team to promote and encourage clinical learning, and working in consultation with the Clinical Midwifery Consultants, University Partners and the WHAM network to support the delivery of clinical best practice. You will also be required to support Scone and Muswellbrook maternity units, so a current NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel for work are essential in this role. You won’t be working alone. The Maternity team at Singleton Hospital are a small but close-knit team with a positive culture that works well together with the GP Obstetricians to provide a high level of care to their patients. You will be supported by the team as well as other Maternity Unit Managers in hospitals throughout the region, as well as the Clinical Midwife Consultant (CMC) and the WHAM Network.

The Maternity Unit at Singleton Hospital provides Level 2 & Level 3 care to their patients and provide shared care with the GP Obstetricians. Requirements:
1) Registered Midwife with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and hold relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
2) A current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel for work purposes
