Experience
- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 12 months of Postpartum experience within the past 12 months.
Requirements
Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Assessing post-partum maternal health, assisting with breastfeeding, Monitor vital signs and watch for signs of complications, managing postpartum complications, administering medications, and teaching new parents essential newborn and maternal care for a safe transition home. Assist with pain management and healing after Normal delivery or C-section, Conduct physical and psychosocial assessments of the mother. Provide emotional support and address psychosocial needs. Post-Partum Experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in Couplet Care desired.
Required Credentials: HWC required.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Bowel obstruction; hip fracture; Cholelithiasis; Appendicitis; Post Partum care.
Types of Patients on Unit: Serves all ages – Women services.
Unit/Facility Details: Post partum (preferred skill set) then Pediatrics and clean female surgery overflow patients Gyn, Breast, etc.
Number of Beds: 14
Patient Ratios: 1:5+
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed.
Call Requirements: As Needed.
Floating Requirements: Float as needed
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
