Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Postpartum | Nursery
Location: Port Lavaca, TX
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Highlights
- Centrally located — just 2–3 hours from Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi
- Designation: Level I Maternal & Neonatal Care
- Average 15–20 deliveries per month
- Department Model: Typically 2-person team; staff are cross-trained in L&D, postpartum, and nursery roles
- EMR: OBIX
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
- Strong assessment skills & proficiency in EFM (electronic fetal monitoring)
- Must be comfortable working in a rural healthcare setting
- Flexibility to cover multiple roles within Women’s Services (L&D, postpartum, nursery, lactation, antepartum)
