Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a valid DHA qualification (Mandatory skill), demonstrating proficiency in medical procedures and healthcare.
- Experience as a staff nurse with adeptness in patient care and clinical tasks in a hospital environment.
- Possess a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or BSc in Nursing, ensuring a foundational understanding of nursing practices.
- Proficiency in Malayalam to effectively communicate with local patients and facilitate a comfortable healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Kerala, understanding regional health issues and patient needs.
- Experience working in hospital settings with a focus on compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-paced clinical environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide top-notch patient care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in accordance with DHA guidelines and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient health conditions, report changes to physicians, and assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
- Facilitate open communication with patients and their families to educate and discuss care plans and treatments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and progress for continuity of care.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay updated with nursing practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
