We are a private practice committed to providing affordable, high-quality psychological services for pregnant and new mothers (with children up to age four). With Medicare bulk-billing as the cornerstone of our model, we ensure that no mother is left without support.
Our services include individual and group therapy addressing:
● Emotional distress during pregnancy or after delivery
● Antenatal and postnatal depression and anxiety
● Adjustment to parenthood
● Pregnancy or neonatal grief and loss
● Relationship challenges
● Fertility struggles
Through partnerships with Maternal and Child Health services and maternity hospitals, we ensure a seamless, integrated journey for our clients.
Our Support Team plays an important role in our practice. They do an exceptional job of taking care of the needs of our clients and clinicians, while also providing assistance to our Director.
We are looking for a warm, reliable and capable person to join our Support Team either full time or part time 4 days per week also considered. Key responsibilities of our Support Team include:
Helping new clients register and setting them up in our client system
Filling cancelled or rescheduled appointments on behalf of the clinicians
Liaising with existing clients about changes to appointments and waiting lists
General reception and administration tasks (e.g. returning email enquires)
Assisting our clinicians with administrative and other tasks
We are looking for someone who:
Is warm, friendly and enjoys connecting with people
Feels confident providing support to people when they are distressed
Has excellent attention to detail, time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills
Is trustworthy, punctual and reliable
Is a quick learner
Enjoys and is skilled at working in a fast-paced environment
Is confident with technology
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
Has an ability to work independently, but also knows when to balance this with seeking guidance
Has previous experience in a similar medical administrative role
This role involves working from home, accessing our email, and client management software. As such, you need to have access to a confidential, dedicated space and a laptop. It is essential that you have strong and reliable internet (an unlimited internet plan is needed).
