Universal Healthcare Services is a growing multi-specialty healthcare organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to women and families in our community. We are expanding our Women’s Health program and seeking an Obstetrics-focused OB/GYN physician to join our team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a physician with a strong passion for obstetrics to provide comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about maternal health and committed to supporting women through every stage of pregnancy and childbirth, while also providing essential gynecologic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope obstetric care, including prenatal visits, ultrasounds, high-risk pregnancy management, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
- Offer patient education and counseling to promote safe pregnancies and healthy deliveries.
- Manage gynecologic needs including well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and treatment of gynecologic conditions.
- Collaborate with midwives, primary care physicians, and specialists for coordinated maternal care.
- Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, with experience managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies.
- Compassionate bedside manner with excellent communication skills.
