We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse with a speciality in Phlebology to join our blood collection clinic for a Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing clinic (NIPT) at Spring Garden Road.
Please note this role will be approximately an 8 hour shift on Wednesday Clinic hours, but may increase to additional days.
Role Overview
As the LPN, you will play a key role in providing blood collection services at our Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Provide superior service and professionalism working with expectant mothers in the collection of blood samples.
Work as part of the team to ensure schedule is maintained and all samples are properly labeled and processed according to clinic standards
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree (LPN) and proof of good standing with theNova Scotia College of Nurses
Speciality in Phlebology collection
Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of clinical and non-clinical employees and interpret company policies, strong track record in health teaching.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format.
Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks
