Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurses to join our dedicated maternal and newborn care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for OB patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
- Assist with labor and delivery, providing support to patients and their families.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on prenatal, labor, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of OB nursing experience.
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP certification.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-acuity situations.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
- Candidates residing 50+ miles from the facility are eligible for the travel rate. Local candidates are encouraged to apply and will be considered/accepted at a lower rate.

Pay Breakdown:
$2,700.00 Gross ($1,476.00 Taxable & $1,224.00 Tax-Free) ($75.00/Hr. Blended Rate)
