Overview:
As part of the Aboriginal Health Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Health and Wellbeing’s goals to improve outcomes for Aboriginal families.
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to provide high-quality coordination and support for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective systems and processes, delivering efficient administrative and project support, and assisting with data collection, reporting and research to address complex and sensitive issues. Working closely with the Child Maternal Health Leadership team, you will contribute to the delivery of key initiatives, provide executive-level support, and ensure best-practice record management.
The Child Maternal Health Project Support Coordinator will:
- Be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the provision of a confidential, high quality and timely executive support for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program
- Be responsible for developing and coordinating systems and processes within Aboriginal Health to ensure the quality administrate function across the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program.
- Be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administrative, research and project support services for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program including pre-emptive management of emails, the preparation of reports, briefing notes, data collection and analysis to assist with the resolution of complex and sensitive issues.
- Provide project support to Child Maternal Health Leadership team in the delivery of complex projects or initiatives and delivering efficient administrative services including word and excel processing and maintaining high level record management practices.
- Participate as an integral team member of the Aboriginal Health Unit contributing to the Department of Health and Wellbeing business plan.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
