This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We are seeking a
part-time APP/Ultrasonographer to join our
Cary, North Carolina team. The schedule will be based on practice needs with flexibility for part-time hours. Weekend and holiday rotations may apply.
How You'll Contribute
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the APP/Ultrasonographer is responsible for:
- Performing transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds to monitor fertility treatment cycles
- Providing expert clinical assessments and collaborating with physicians on patient care plans
- Educating patients about treatment protocols, procedures, and results in a compassionate and professional manner
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Documenting findings and maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Supporting procedures including intrauterine inseminations (IUI), egg retrievals, and embryo transfers as applicable to scope of practice
- Delivering patient-centered care with sensitivity to emotional needs during the fertility journey
What You'll Bring
The skills and education we need are:
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license OR ARDMS certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (OB/GYN specialty strongly preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of women’s health, reproductive endocrinology, or related ultrasound/clinical experience
- Strong technical proficiency in performing and interpreting gynecologic and obstetric ultrasounds
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Computer literacy with EMR systems
