The
Medical Assistant will provide high-quality care to NewLIFE patients, adhering to established standards and practices. This role combines clinical and clerical responsibilities to support our IVF coordinators, nurse practitioners, and providers in delivering exceptional reproductive healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ART/FET schedules, prescriptions, and patient communications.
- Perform clinical tasks: vitals, phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures.
- Complete pre-cycle checklists and manage patient records.
- Schedule monitoring appointments and update test results in EMR.
- Maintain inventory and prepare exam rooms.
- Provide injection support and respond to patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Proven phlebotomy experience required.
- Proficient in medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a professional and compassionate demeanor.
- Previous experience in OB-GYN or reproductive healthcare setting preferred.
