Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers has beautiful state-of-the-art integrated Cancer and Women's Centers, with locations strategically located throughout the Valley. Each one provides a superior cancer care environment with a full spectrum of cancer related services for patients. Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, women's centers, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling.

Overview: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant to deliver compassionate care to our Oncology patients by assisting with clinical tasks, performing support services for clinical staff and providing direct interaction with patients and their caregivers in our fast-paced out-patient oncology clinic.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday day shift position. This position will be based out of our Scottsdale office, but will also travel to our Phoenix location.

Are you a detail-oriented, empathetic medical assistant with a passion for women’s health and surgical care? We’re looking for a dedicated Breast Surgical Medical Assistant to support our dynamic surgical team in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in pre- and post-operative care for breast surgery patients
Prepare exam rooms and surgical instruments
Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments; strong understanding of sterile techniques
Support minor in-office procedures and wound care; specimen collection
Coordinate patient education and follow-up appointments
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation; process referrals as needed
Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including chart prep, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration
What We’re Looking For:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- must have certification within 90 days of hire
Experience in surgical or women’s health settings preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable
