Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating hormonal disorders, with a focus on patient-centered care. This role requires expertise in various medical practices, including but not limited to diabetes care, reproductive endocrinology, and critical care. The Endocrinologist will work collaboratively with other specialists to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
Duties
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with endocrine disorders through thorough assessments and medical history reviews.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient documentation and data management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatry, cardiology, and gastroenterology to ensure holistic patient care.
- Perform procedures related to endocrinology, such as IV infusions and basic life support when necessary.
- Conduct clinical research to advance knowledge in the field of endocrinology.
- Provide education and health coaching to patients regarding their conditions and treatments.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Board certification in Endocrinology or equivalent experience in the field.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Epic, for managing patient records.
- Experience in critical care settings is preferred, along with familiarity with perioperative care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (CPT/ICD) is beneficial.
- Previous experience in outpatient settings as well as inpatient care is highly valued.
- Familiarity with diagnostic imaging techniques such as CT scans and mammography is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $220,000.00 - $320,000.00 per year
