Laboratory Director, Full-time, On-site
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to oversee our laboratory operations and build-out of new state-of-the-art IVF laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Embryology and Andrology laboratories, effective leadership, and experience with EMR, and FDA and CAP regulations. As a Laboratory Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations such as CAP and CLIA.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including managing staff, training, procedural needs, and ensuring quality control.
- Design layout and flow of new state-of-the-art IVF laboratory
- Lead and mentor a team of scientists and technicians in quality improvement and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA and FDA regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage laboratory information management systems to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
- Implement and maintain laboratory procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise clinical laboratory activities, including histology and other specialized techniques.
- Provide innovative solutions and develop higher caliber workflows within our lab and EMR.
- Optimize the functionality and use of resources and delve into the scientific advancements for our facility.
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- PhD degree in a natural scientific field. HCLD Certification.
- Proven experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and clinical laboratory practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals.
