Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform laboratory procedures including specimen collection, processing, and blood sampling.
- Conduct vital signs assessments and document patient information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff.
- Support patient service initiatives by addressing inquiries and providing information on services.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring all laboratory tools are properly sterilized and ready for use.
Skills
- Proficient in laboratory techniques and procedures, with hands-on laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in phlebotomy, including venipuncture and blood sampling techniques.
- Ability to perform specimen collection/processing with attention to detail.
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory operations and hospital experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Pay: $21.63 - $26.05 per hour
