Position Description:
The
Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Froedtert Health are seeking a
part-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our
Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized reproductive health care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Position Overview
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary health care team, the APP will provide a broad range of services in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, quality care, and patient education. The position requires coverage during
core business hours on Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive infertility histories and physical examinations
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and ultrasounds for fertility evaluation
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, including ovulation induction
- Perform procedures such as intrauterine inseminations and endometrial biopsies (as credentialed)
- Facilitate management of in vitro fertilization cycles and fertility preservation options
- Educate and counsel patients and families regarding reproductive health and treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Document all encounters and procedures in the EMR system

Preferred Schedule:
Position Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner:
- Master’s degree or higher in Nursing
- Current Wisconsin RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license
- National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse (Women’s Health certification preferred; Adult, Family, or Acute Care considered)
Physician Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Wisconsin PA license and NCCPA certification
Additional Requirements:
- DEA license
- AHA BCLS (required); ACLS preferred
- 2–3 years of OB/GYN or women’s health experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients navigating infertility
