What You'll Do
The Registered Nurse plays a significant role within the healthcare team at Clinic 3, a specialty clinic that includes robust specialties such as women's health, behavioral health, ENT, metabolic clinic, dermatology, and more. The RN assesses the patient needs, provides laboratory procedures as appropriate, ensures proper follow-up care, and provides medication and treatment under supervision of a physician.
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient clinic, including assessments, diagnostic testing, and medication administration in conjunction with other medical professionals.
- Collaborate with providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes promptly.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support ongoing health.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and support quality improvement efforts within the department.
Who We're Looking For
- Graduation from an approved program in registered nursing.
- RN staff must possess a currently valid State of Colorado license to practice as an RN.
- Must have current American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in a clinic type setting.
