- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 630 deliveries per year and 2-4 patients per shift and 8 beds in the department. Locums coverage beginning in October for most weekends subject only to availability of other local OBGYNs. Expect 9-10 call days per month starting at noon on Friday until 7am monday.

Job Responsibilities: * Provide beeper call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients
* Manage 2–4 patients per shift
* Respond to emergency calls as needed
* Support labor and delivery in a facility with approximately 630 deliveries per year
Qualifications: * Board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN
* Active medical license (or ability to obtain)
* Prior experience in a stroke-certified and trauma level 4 facility preferred
Working Hours: * Coverage begins in October
* Primarily weekends, based on availability of other local OBGYNs
* 9–10 call days per month
* Call shifts run from Friday at 12:00 PM to Monday at 7:00 AM
Skills: * Proficient in managing deliveries and emergency obstetric situations
* Ability to work independently during call hours
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills
* Familiarity with hospital protocols in stroke-certified and trauma level 4 settings
