Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology, including the operation of mammography equipment and adherence to safety protocols. The Mammography Technologist will also collaborate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and support.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations, including reviewing patient history and previous imaging results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including radiation safety measures, infection control, and quality assurance practices.
- Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and best practices through ongoing education.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in mammography.
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiology techniques, including X-Ray, CT, PET scan, sonography, and urgent care imaging.
- Experience in performing mammograms and familiarity with related diagnostic evaluations.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to radiation exposure and patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $37.64 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
