Travel Nursing Job Details

- Unit: Labor & Delivery (Critical Need)
- Start Date: September 21, 2025
- End Date: December 20, 2025
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,830 - $3,030 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active California Registered Nurse License (required for California nursing jobs)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or related field
- Preferred: Five (5) or more years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Preferred: One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
- Preferred: High Risk OB experience
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, administer medications, and assist with deliveries
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide high-quality care in high-risk situations
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and clinical standards
