Feminine Urgicare in Paramus, NJ is a new concept in women's health. We are a premier women's health urgent care facility providing outstanding and compassionate care in a welcoming environment. We are seeking a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner with women's health experience to provide care for our new and growing patient population in Paramus, NJ with future additional sites on the horizon.
The provider will be responsible for the clinical assessment and treatment plan in a women's health urgent care facility under the guidance of the OB/GYN medical director. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in women's health.
Responsibilities:
-Perform gynecologic exams, routine PAP smears and cultures as needed.
-Obstetrical evaluations and treatment plans.
-Order and interpret necessary diagnostic testing.
-Provide appropriate follow up care and/or referral for care as needed.
-Provide patient counseling and education as needed.
-Document patient encounters with appropriate treatment plan and follow up.
Qualifications:
-Current and unrestricted NJ State license.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team based environment.
-eClinical works is helpful, but not required.
-Ability to perform, or willingness to learn procedures including colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, Bartholin cyst drainage, hysteroscopy.
-Bilingual a plus.
