Position Qualification
Position Summary
This role works collaboratively with other College of Allied Health Professions
(CAHP) and College of Medicine (COM) faculty on both the Omaha and Kearney campuses.
Teaching responsibilities include instruction in anatomy and physiology courses taught across the programs in the CAHP. This role requires a willingness and comfort with teaching anatomy at different depths and innovative ways to serve the needs of the various professional programs in the CAHP. Synchronous, asynchronous, blended, distance learning and cadaveric laboratory teaching methods are used.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Anatomy.
Thorough knowledge of gross anatomy, basic neuroanatomy, basic embryology, and cross-sectional anatomy experience is required.
Supplemental Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in the allied health professions and/or have earned a doctoral degree in a related discipline.
