We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service while managing the front desk operations of our medical office. This role requires , excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various electronic health record (EHR) systems. The Medical Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative processes, from scheduling appointments to handling patient inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls using multi-line phone systems, ensuring effective phone etiquette.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.
- Verify patient insurance information and handle medical billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review care plans and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
- Utilize EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, and others for patient management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following experience and skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review.
- Proficiency in computer skills including typing speed and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
