This is a permanent full time post (37) worked Monday to Friday 0830 to 20:00.
This post holder by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience, function as an autonomous practitioner within a multi-professional team to ensure the provision of accessible, high standard, culturally sensitive and effective person centred Sexual and Reproductive Health care across all Sandyford services.
As a registered nurse, the post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and deliver a range of skilled Sexual & Reproductive Health Care interventions including fitting and removal of contraceptive implants and intra uterine devices: testing and treatment, including symptomatic screening and asymptomatic contacts, of sexually transmitted infections and blood borne viruses along with partner notification and other health advising interventions.
The post holder will provide mentorship, support to pre and post registration medical & nursing students and staff new to the role.
