An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialists to work within the Young Persons (YP) service at Sandyford Sexual Health Services.
Our Young Persons team provide a full range of sexual and reproductive services to young people age 13 to 17 through in-reach and out-reach clinics.
With the support of the Lead Consultant for Young People and the Nurse Team Lead for Young People, the post holder will have a lead role for ensuring Child Protection governance within Sandyford Services with responsibility for follow-up of a defined caseload, in addition to providing support to other clinicians to manage individuals where there are concerns relating to child protection. The post holder will also support the ongoing development of the Young Persons service within Sandyford and associated youth initiatives.
This post consists 0.6 WTE YP and 0.4 WTE core Sandyford sexual and reproductive health care services.
