Assignment Overview

- Unit: Women’s Services / Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Duration: 13 weeks (08/25/2025 – 11/23/2025)
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekly Pay: $2,300 (based on 36 hours)
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Travel RN to join a busy Women’s Services team in Stephenville, Texas. This contract role provides hands-on care to laboring mothers and newborns, including C-section circulating in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
- Circulate and assist during cesarean sections (C/S)
- Monitor maternal and fetal status; utilize advanced fetal monitoring technology
- Accurately document care and interventions in electronic medical records
- Administer medications and manage pain protocols
- Educate and support patients and families from antepartum through postnatal phases
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the multidisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Must have C-section circulating experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
