OverviewSelah Women's Health is seeking a new Ob/Gyn
Selah Women’s Health is a thriving 6-clinician group practice that is looking to expand to better meet the healthcare access needs of our beautiful NorthState California community. Our practice uniquely blends a passion for whole-person care at a personalized patient level, with a vision for community-level health restoration. This means that we are consistently building new services and programs and collaborating with our colleagues within our local healthcare systems to better meet the needs of women and their families. Our private practice model positions us well to easily flex and change along with the creative visions of our clinicians. Our team lives and breathes a culture of Hope, believing that together we have the power to build beautiful care support for our NorthState women.
Our practice currently serves 12,000+ women, and we deliver an average of 300-500 babies a year from our practice. Our physicians are true generalists, providing full-scope outpatient and surgical services including urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced fertility treatment services. Our surgical volume keeps each of our surgeons operating an average of 2 days every week. Our multidisciplinary team also includes registered nurses, case managers, pelvic physical therapists, and ob/gyn sonographers. New hire physicians will easily step into our team-care model and benefit in patient volume from the local reputation the practice has already developed.
Our practice also leads Ob/Gyn call and resident education coverage at Mercy Medical Center Redding, with an average call ratio of 1 in 7. We have enjoyed positive collaborative relationships with MMCR’s Maternal-Child Unit administration and family medicine residency programs. We staff the Ob Hospitalist program at MMCR, which has given us the opportunity for fulfilling teaching and leadership roles in creating a positive culture for women’s health in the hospital setting.
