Medical Director - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Join a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) team in beautiful Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers you the chance to lead our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine services, covering both Grand Rapids and the nearby lakeshore. As a vital part of a mission-driven organization, you will shape and enhance our Maternal Fetal program, ultimately making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee and lead the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line ensuring the highest quality of care for complex maternal fetal cases.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies, collaborating with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists.
- Program Development: Partner with administrative and clinical leadership to develop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program, with accountability for quality, service excellence, and financial goals.
- Education and Mentorship: Guide and mentor medical students and residents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience (not including training).
- 2+ years of work experience in a leadership role or equivalent training.
- Not accepting new graduate candidates - experience required.
- Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification.
- Not accepting Locums candidates.
- Open to H1B visa candidates; however, J1 waivers are not accepted.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice record - PREFERRED
