Job Opportunity: Gynecology Oncology Physician
Join the thriving medical community in Colorado Springs, CO as a permanent Gynecology/Oncology Physician! This opportunity is set within a well-established, high-volume practice located at a Level I trauma center, Memorial Hospital Central. You'll be part of a physician-led medical group that comprises over 650 physicians and 500 advanced practice providers, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and innovative treatment options.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care within a high-volume Gynecology/Oncology practice.
- Manage a steady flow of new patients with a strong referral base from local clinics.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Nurse Navigator and specialized GYN and RadOnc teams.
- Utilize the da Vinci XI surgical system and take part in clinical trials.
- Assess and treat adult patients primarily in an outpatient setting.
- Participate in shared call coverage (1:2) with minimal interruptions due to hospitalists.
- Access the University of Colorado School of Medicine Tumor Board for patient cases.
- Engage in teaching opportunities for medical students if interested.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
- Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology (to complete prior to start).
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice history is preferred.
- No visa sponsorship available (J1 or H1B).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology (required).
- Active Colorado medical license (required).
- Fellowship training in Gynecological Oncology (required).
