What You’ll Do
Utilizing advanced knowledge, education and competence, the Onboarding Specialist II will function in an expanded role within the assigned clinical department(s) in collaboration with unit leaders and preceptors ensuring all required orientation and educational opportunities occur during the orientation phase. In addition, will assist with the assessment of educational needs of the assigned departmental staff in order to plan, implement, and evaluate educational/orientation opportunities. Assists with the development and/or implementation of system-wide courses, workshops and in-services. The Onboarding Specialist II promotes and leads by example the Freeman Health System's Five Star Promise of Compassion, Teamwork, Professionalism, Ownership and Communication.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
Minimum 4 years nursing experience
Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing, Education or Healthcare-related field.
