The Opportunity
This Clinical Administrator position supports the daily operations of all departments, patients and clients within our Brisbane Procedure Centre environment.
Duties
This role is a customer service-based position representing City Fertility as the first point of contact for most day surgery patients, providing a meet and greet and a friendly and empathetic phone manner. Along with exemplary customer services other associated duties of this role include:
- responsibility for managing incoming calls, booking appointments, and patient registration
- providing comprehensive cost quotes individualised to the patients treatment plan
- Billing of day surgery and IVF patients within Medicare and private healthcare guidelines
- Along with day surgery billing, applicants with coding experience and/or qualifications will be highly regarded.
About You
We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, compassionate, supportive, and a team promoter. Ideally, you will bring the following to the role:
- Min 2 years’ experience working in a Day Hospital, Procedure Clinic or Hospital environment
- Must have experience in the Health Industry and basic medical terminology training
- Understanding of Medicare / Private Health Billing, preferred but not essential
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office
- Genie Software, Clinic to Cloud, Pracsoft or equivalent billing software
- Experience with day surgery software such as SimDay or Dox will be highly regarded
