QUALIFICATIONS
Technical :
· Able to perform early, mid and late-stage obstetric ultrasound scans
· Able to recognize life-threatening fetal abnormalities and pathologies of obstetric scans
· Able to operate ultrasound machines for their maximal performance
· Skilled in troubleshooting for ultrasound machines and electronic devices
· Perfect skills to use computers and electronic devices
General:
- Able to perform safety and sanitary procedures after each scan
· Excellent communication skills with a customer service approach
· Effective written and verbal English skills
· Ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team
· Quick to learn new applications and software
· Efficient time management skills: ability to organize work and set priorities
- Demonstrate satisfactory work performance and attendance history
· Positive work attitude: reliable, punctual, professional, and flexible
· Registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS in obstetrics is preferred
· Salary according to qualifications and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Interacts with UC Baby clients and their families in a friendly, warm, and welcoming way
- Address questions about the pregnancy ultrasound session in a professional manner
- Ensures proper forms and papers are filled out and signed by the expecting client
- Inputs client relevant information to the ultrasound machine and related software programs for the recording their pictures and videos
- Performs 2D/3D/ 5D elective ultrasound scans for different stages of pregnancy
- Provides relevant information regarding the images the clients see on the screen
- Explains and educates the mothers about the 3D/4D/ 5D scans
- Engages with clients in a friendly and nurturing way to make the pregnancy ultrasound experience memorable and a happy one for the client and their families
- Operates ultrasound machines and follows procedures for proper equipment maintenance.
- Able to properly adjust image quality and techniques based on the stage of pregnancy
- Uploads images to proper UC Baby secure sites and finalizes the client supporting documentation
- Maintains responsibility and accountability for the professional operation of the pregnancy ultrasound business
- Performs Quality Assurance and Control, as set by UC Baby Business Operations Guide
- Prepares, cleans and sanitizes the ultrasound room and the machine before and after each scan
· Operates, troubleshoots, and ensures ultrasound machines and electronic devices performing in an effective and efficient manner
· Communicates and reports incidents, unexpected situations and troubles to the superiors
- Maintains privacy and confidentiality during and after the scans
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week

- sonography: 2 years (required)
