We are currently seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a casual basis. This flexible position involves working up to 4 shifts per month (subject to change), at ourSurrey and Vancouver locations and is ideal for a highly skilled sonographer who is passionate about women’s health and prenatal diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations
- Collaborate closely with Radiologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy and excellence in care.
- Deliver professional, respectful, and compassionate care to expectant patients.
- Ensure clear, accurate imaging and documentation in accordance with clinical standards.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and uphold all safety and infection control protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Participating in quality assurance initiatives and evaluating new equipment to keep our services at the forefront of diagnostic care.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited institution.
- Active registration with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS (Ob/Gyn specialty required; FMF certification in NT required).
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in maternal fetal medicine ultrasound.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while upholding the highest standards of private practice care.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role.
- Current CPR certification.
- Clean and up-to-date Criminal Records Check
