The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, providing HR guidance on a wide range of topics including workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. The HRBP collaborates closely with market leaders to drive change, improve performance, and create positive employee experience. The HRBP also plays a critical role in identifying future workforce needs, supporting leadership development, and using data to inform decisions that strengthen organizational effectiveness.
This role will report to HR Leadership and lead a small team of HR professionals in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership

Serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness

Collaborate with leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives

Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop proactive solutions, programs, and policies

Support leaders in navigating organizational change and aligning HR strategies with business goals

Managing sensitive and confidential matters like employee relations, organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files
Employee Relations & Compliance

Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to manage investigations and mitigate risk

Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Work closely with operations management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

Assisting with duties as it relates to Safety and Workers Compensation
Talent Development & Change Management

Facilitates training with Practice Administrators to drive adoption of HR technology, processes and tools

Works closely with hiring managers/Talent Acquisition to ensure recruitment needs are met

Lead the process and execution for employee engagement, onboarding, and exit surveys
Operational Excellence

Partner with HR COEs (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, HRIS) to deliver seamless HR services

Drive adoption of HR systems, tools, and processes across assigned departments

Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve HR service delivery and employee experience
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years' experience in HR with at least 3 years in a business partner or consultative role

Bachelor's degree in a business or HR field

Experience in a healthcare or multi-site service organization

Strong functional knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and organizational development

Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality and strong interpersonal skills

Must come with an enterprise mindset, strong ability to partner with others and influence without authority

Excellent foundational consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, strong executive presence, facilitation and presentation skills

Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization

Ability to travel up to ~20%
