Job Overview:
Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Oxnard, CA. This position offers guaranteed 36 hours/week, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity L&D unit. You'll be part of a dedicated team caring for diverse, high-risk obstetric patients, with support from OB techs, in-house specialists, and a well-equipped unit. Nurses must have at least 3 years of recent L&D/PP experience, and be able to circulate for C-sections and float to Postpartum and NICU as needed.

Qualifications:
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years recent L&D/Postpartum experience
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN)
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- License: CA RN License (License to submit NOT required)

- L&D Beds: 7
- Triage Beds: 4 + 2 overflow
- Postpartum Beds: 27 + 5-bed nursery
- Average Births: ~3/day (1,545/year)
- C-Section Suites: 2
- Staffing Ratios: Follows AWHONN guidelines
- Support Staff: OB Techs, Charge Nurses, RTs, Pharmacy 24/7
