Woman's Health Medical Office c specializing in Gynecology and Urogynecology (Incontinence, Pelvic Health, and Prolapse) has an immediate need for an experienced Ultrasoud Tech - back-office Medical Assistant to join our team. This job is a combination of both (Back office and Ultrasound Tech)

Qualifications:

Certified Sonographer / Ultrasound tech
Experience scanning in Womans health, pelvic ultrasound
Trans vaginal and Trans Abdominal ultrasound
Medical assistant certificate or experience
Complete knowledge of all OB-Gyn terms, conditions, and procedures
EMR experience is a MUST
Multi-tasker
Willing to learn

Responsibilities:

Perform pelvic ultrasound, generate images and report and add to EMR
Discuss scan results with providers
Preparing patient charts before visits by getting required authorizations, lab results, etc.
History and physical, medical history etc.
Handle prescriptions, and lab orders electronically
Assist the doctor with the exam, procedures
Specimen collection, electronic lab, and prescription orders
Handle pharmacy, and medical record requests
Cleanup, supplies, autoclaving, stocking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Medical Assisting: 4 years (Required)
Sonography: 2 years (Required)
Ob/Gyn: 1 year (Preferred)
EMR systems: 5 years (Required)
