About the Mother Baby Program
Our Mother Baby Program includes our High Risk Antenatal unit and our Mother Baby unit. Nurses working on our High Risk Antenatal unit care for patients who have complicated pregnancies arising from complex medical conditions and/or fetal complications and patients experiencing a perinatal loss.
In this role you will:
- Provide direct care of patients in the Antenatal unit, including assessments and documentation of vital signs, fetal heart rate, labour assessment, postpartum and newborn assessment, support with infant feeding and ongoing patient/family education
- Contribute ongoing patient/family education
- Conduct and/or support assessments such as maternal, labour, Neonatal, infant feeding
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
